HÜL - Rollout of new switches

Once the data network upgrade is complete, the interim switches in the HÜL will be replaced with the latest models. This replacement will result in an outage of the data network (LAN and Wi-Fi) as well as the telephone system (VoIP). The outage is expected to last approximately 2 hours. It is not possible to provide an exact schedule of which connections will be affected and when.

Below is a rough guide by network distribution room:

June 22, 2026, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: IT Room 351 June 22, 2026, 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM: IT Room 371 June 23, 2026, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: IT Room 313 June 23, 2026, 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM: IT Room 381 June 26, 2026, 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM: IT Room 388A

You can determine which connection is affected by checking the socket label (the room number of the IT room is listed at the beginning).

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the data network and telephone service will be available again after the time window has ended.
