In mid‑2024 we introduced a runtime for all VMs and initially set it to 2 years. On 17 September 2026 the first VMs will reach this end and will need to be extended.
In order to address reported difficulties with the extension process, we will extend all VMs that expire in September or October 2026 by 2 months.

Renewing a large number of VMs through the Self-Service-Portal (SSP) is still very time-consuming. If you would like to renew more than 20 VMs, please submit a ticket to the Service Desk (servicedesk@tu-dresden.de). We will be happy to assist you with the renewal.
