Note on Outlook Issues Following a Windows Update Microsoft has confirmed that the Windows Update KB5094126 (June 2026) for Windows 11 24H2/25H2 may cause issues with Microsoft Office under certain circumstances. Environments where Outlook or other Office applications are used with add-ins or third-party software may be particularly affected. If Outlook closes unexpectedly or behaves erratically, please try starting Outlook in Safe Mode and continue working for a while. In Safe Mode, installed add-ins, among other things, are disabled. This will help determine whether the issue is related to an add-in or a third-party extension.
You can start Outlook in Safe Mode by pressing Windows + R and entering the following command:
outlook.exe/safe
If you encounter any problems, please contact your local administrator.
