To ease migration, the technical name of a VPN resource used in Cisco Secure Client (AnyConnect) is currently also part of the displayname in eduVPN. When a VPN resource is deactivated in Cisco Secure Client, the technical name is no longer relevant for users and is removed from the displayname of the VPN resource in eduVPN.

On 31.02.2026 at 17:00 the technical names will be removed from the displaynames of all VPN resources in tranche 2.
