VPN access Shared software usage (license service)

Solution: The VPN for using licenses is now accessible via eduVPN. Instructions for setting up eduVPN can be found in our FAQ under [1].

When connecting, please select the resource “Licenses” instead of “TUD VPN” (point 5 of the instructions).

If it still does not work despite the VPN connection, please send an email with the subject line: studlic to servicedesk@tu-dresden.de

Due to a technical issue, the VPN resources for the license servers are not available in Cisco AnyConnect. The entries TUD-vpn-split-la-s and TUD-vpn-lic are missing. We are working hard to find a solution.

This affects:

• Students (including SPSS, MathCAD for students, Solidworks (only students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering)). SPSS can be used via the terminal server with eduVPN activated.
