[Resolved] Virtualization Issue

There is currently an outage in the virtualization environment. Several services are affected, including the ticket system, Confluence, LDAP, and Datashare.

We are working around the clock to resolve the issue and apologize for the inconvenience.

[Resolved] Passwortübertragung in Active Diretory Domänen (DOM, User) gestört

There is currently a problem with password transfer from the IDM system in the Active Directory domains (DOM, User). New ZIH accounts cannot log in and existing ZIH accounts cannot change their passwords. This affects the following services, among others:

Exchange
Sharepoint
Selma
Webex (VoIP)
Authentication subdomains DOM
etc.

To fix security vulnerabilities, the load balancer software must be updated. The systems are designed to be redundant so that there are no prolonged service outages. Switchovers may cause multiple interruptions to active connections and brief (<30 sec.) periods of unavailability. A new connection should usually be established automatically.

ADFS migration and update, 27 May 2025, 6:00–9:00 p.m.

Die ADFS-Server werden von Server 2016 auf neue Server 2022 migriert. In diesem Zuge wird die ADFS-Version auf Version 4 angehoben und die alten ADFS-Server werden abgeschaltet. Am 27.05.25 kann es in der Zeit von 18 bis 21 Uhr zu Einschränkungen der folgenden Dienste kommen:

O365-Anmeldungen

The ADFS servers will be migrated from Server 2016 to new Server 2022. As part of this, the ADFS version will be upgraded to version 4 and the old ADFS servers will be decommissioned.

On 27.05.25 there may be restrictions on the following services from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m:

O365 logins
